Reykjavík artist Birgir Snæbjörn Birgisson examines notions of purity and perfection. Birgir's subjects include historical and anonymous persons who are all given blond hair and blue eyes if they were not born that way. These subjects include John F. Kennedy, Mary & Jesus, pedigree aryans in 1920's Germany, and every Miss World beauty pageant winner to date.
